Process and Production

The Workshop

Where the world becomes buildable.

The Workshop shows the repeatable method: premise, narrative system, visual development, character source, spatial design, 3D production, browser implementation, revision, and assembly.

The workshop is active, exacting, and inhabited.

Room Brief

Where the world becomes buildable.

Room Purpose
Expose process and production without flattening the work.
Method
Problem, hypothesis, sketch, test, revision, result.
Next Room
Archive: artifacts and outputs.

Worktable

The system moves from premise to scenes.

A world starts as a strategic question, then becomes a chapter system, a map, a cast, rituals, images, artifacts, and finally an interactive surface.

Cast

Characters begin as source figures before they become behavior.

The Appalache cast includes source silhouettes, rigged characters, chapter roles, and in-world encounters. The goal is an ensemble, not a portrait grid.

An Appalache character source figure before 3D rigging.
Source figures carry costume, posture, and silhouette into the 3D pipeline.

Build

The browser prototype has to keep the mood intact.

The technical work stays subordinate to the experience. Compression, loading, interaction, and mobile performance matter because the visitor should feel the estate, not the machinery.

Selected Material

Images are treated as evidence.

An Appalache showcase board with estate model and game scenes.
The case study is assembled as an exhibition, not a deck.
A game launch screen for The Appalache Estate.
Interactive proof is introduced as an architectural collection.
A gameplay scene with an Appalache character interaction.
Character encounters turn the estate into a social system.
